Given that every professional auto detail shop has their own set of methods, for not only their style of detailing but also their environment/climate, there are a few steps that should always be followed for a proper paint coating that will deliver satisfying results for both the Nxtzen professional and their clients.
Nxtzen Prep
After the initial vehicle inspection the "paint prep" stage begins. This prep work consists of:
- Cleaning of wheels, tires, wheel well areas using Nxtzen Super Clean/Iron Decon
- Exterior surfaces washed using Nxtzen Foam Decon
- Nxtzen Iron Decon used to reveal paint contaminates.
- Nxtzen Clay used to remove bonded contaminates.
Now comes the paint polishing steps. The amount of polishing will depend on:
- Condition of paint.
- 1-step or a 3-step polish process using Nxtzen Cut Master System
- Agreed upon cost for polish work.
This "Prep" process is the most laborious but it is also the most vital to ensure:
- Proper adhesion of clients chosen Nxtzen Coating
- Client satisfaction
Nxtzen Application
Once all the prep is finished your Nxtzen Professional will remove all polish residue and any remaining oils on the surface of the paint and glass using Nxtzen Prep Solvent. This will ensure clean paint ready to accept the Nxtzen coating and bonding process.
Your Nxtzen Professional can apply everything from our Nxtzen 1-Year 365 Pro up to our flagship 9-year Nxtzen Elite GSO2.
Nxtzen coatings can be applied to all painted surfaces, vinyl film, PPF, glass, wheels as well as your interior materials.

Nxtzen After-Care
Nxtzen highly recommends you set up a maintenance program with your Nxtzen Professional. Initially you will want to avoid any type of washing with soap and agitation for 7 days after your initial 15 hour cure period.
You can then set up a regular plan with your Nxtzen Professional. You may choose weekly, bi-weekly or monthly as this mainly depends on how often the car is driven and subjected to the elements.
Your Nxtzen Professional can also give you some basic after-care instructions, how to remove bugs and bird droppings for example, using our proven and trusted Nxtzen products.
Nxtzen has put together an "After-Care Kit" which includes either our Nxtzen ZNR Rinseless Wash or our Nxtzen Foam Decon preferred by professional detailers world wide.
