Safety

Wear gloves throughout the application process. Work in a ventilated area. We highly recommend the wearing of a mask or respirator.

NXTZEN formulas use solvent systems borrowed from the cosmetics industry — noticeably lower odor and gentler on skin contact than conventional coating chemistry. It makes for a better day at the bench, but gloves stay on.

Surface preparation

Coating locks in whatever is beneath it. Correction happens first — once cured, fixing missed defects can be difficult.

Once correction is complete, strip all polish residue and oils with NXTZEN Prep Solvent. This step determines whether the coating bonds, and it's the most common point of failure.

Conditions

Ideal is 70–75°F at 45–50% RH. In those conditions NXTZEN formulas are forgiving enough that an experienced installer can often coat the entire vehicle before starting the leveling process.

Humidity is the variable that causes problems. As it climbs, your working window shortens — reduce your section size and level sooner.

Coverage

Most vehicles take 10 ml or less.

• 30 ml — 3 cars
• 60 ml — 6 cars

Application

Work panel by panel. Even, consistent film — uniform coverage, not saturation.

Dwell

Climate-controlled, 70–75°F / 45–50% RH: 5–15 minutes.
Warmer, more humid, or airflow present: work toward the short end.

Watch the flash rather than the clock.

Removal

Initial knock-down with one clean microfiber. Flip the towel and continue leveling residue. Complete removal with a second clean microfiber.

Wet-insurance wipe (optional)

For remaining residue or high spots: dampen a clean towel with distilled or RO water, wipe the panel, buff dry. Clean distilled water will not affect the cure.

Single layer

Ceramic Professional is a single-layer coating. Do not layer.

Cure and handover

Environment cure: 15–24 hours.
Safe for soap and agitation washing after 7 days.
